I played through a decent amount of Mega Man X tonight, and talked about it on Twitter, because this is how I choose to live my life.

Those 3 original illustrations I shared last night are now available on Etsy should some generous individual have any interest in purchasing them!  Click Through and take a look.

Menace ink/digital, 2012
Hello again, 2012.  Finally, I must cautiously poke my head up from the earth in this barely-new-anymore year in which we live, testing the air for poison and ground for solidity, waiting for the End of Human Days.

You guys, I just made some magnets with my stylized-splattery-vector designs of Mega Man, Protoman, and Bass!  They’re available at Etsy for $5.00 (for all 3, of course)!  They’ll begin shipping early  next month

So today was my birthday.  I drew this yesterday though, so it’s the last robot I drew as a 24-year-old-person.  As far as birthdays go it was pretty alright, except that I woke up sick with a cold and subsequently spent the rest of the day also sick.  Anyway, everything’s 10% off at my Etsy store if you use the coupon code BIRTHDAYCAKE, so that’s something to think about.

Anniversary Days continue with this original painting, the inspiration for that SPECIAL POSTER I’ve been HASSLING EVERYONE about.  I hadn’t done any painting in awhile, but I’m happy with how it turned out.  Also, it’s for sale at Etsy to any superfans out there.

(Almost) 3 years ago, back on OCTOBER 22ND, 2008 I started up the Daily Robot.  Apparently I opened the Etsy store on the same day, but I have no recollection doing this, and also I didn’t sell anything to anyone until like, ever.
Well, here we are.  I’m still drawing robots, and more people than ever are looking at them, which I appreciate more than you can probably guess.  Additionally, this little art project went from being a hobby to a kind of second job for me, (in the good way).
In honor of the Daily Robot’s third birthday I’ve made this, a big (18”x24”) limited-edition poster that I spent a lot of time on, and that, as so rarely happens, turned out exactly how I imagined it before I started. I hope you like it too.  I’m selling them at Etsy, and there will only be 20 of them.  Also, each one is going to come with a special one-of-a-kind robot drawing, a little Daily Robot Birthday present to anyone who orders one.
I have a few more anniversarial surprises in store that you’ll hear about over the next couple days, but for right now I’d like to thank anyone reading this for being a part of The Daily Robot!
